Fly to Mexico City International Airport (MEX).
The airport is about 30-60 minutes to most hotels, but traffic can be intense in CDMX so plan accordingly.
Use Uber, not taxis.
Use Uber to get into the city from the airport, and to get around. It's easier, safer, and solves any language barriers.
Eat the street food.
It’s worth it, we promise. Just make sure it’s hot and that lots of other people are eating too.
Stick to bottled water.
We’re probably being overly cautious with this one, but better safe than sorry.
Beware the altitude.
CDMX is 7000 feet above sea level, which means you need to stay hydrated and be sensible with your liquor.
Don’t be stupid.
CDMX is a safe place, truly. But as with any safe place, there are also unsafe parts. So be smart, know where you’re going, and try not to look like a wandering tourist. We promise you’ll be safe :)
